Dental Appointments and COVID-19

Microscopic view of Coronavirus

The COVID-19 pandemic is having wide-ranging impacts on our everyday lives, including scheduled dental and other appointments. We all need to work together to prevent the spread of the virus.

Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and we will continue to follow the recommendations of the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Pennsylvania Department of Health.  We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are up-to-date on any new rulings or guidance that may be issued.

In the next few weeks we will be contacting patients for scheduling purposes as we slowly restart patient care activities.  Please note that patients with dental emergencies and patients that had their scheduled appointment cancelled during the stay-at-home period will receive priority for initial appointment availability.  Periodic exams and dental hygiene visits will resume in the near future.
